Safe Families believes that every parent needs and deserves support. Parenting is hard and no parent should ever have to parent alone. To help keep families strong, they offer connection to safe, supportive relationships for parents who want that in their lives.

Every Mother's Advocate

Every Mother's Advocate (ĒMA) is a court-approved, prevention program designed to advocate for moms in crisis to preserve their families. They pair moms at risk of having their children placed into foster care with an ĒMA Advocate who builds a meaningful relationship and provides holistic support, ensuring every mother has an opportunity to thrive. This outcome-based program empowers families to achieve stability and stay together.

  • Aims to provide healthcare services for everyone, regardless of ability to pay

NADAP 

If you need to sign up for health insurance through NY State of Health, you can contact a Benefit Navigator at NADAP. NADAP is a non-profit social service agency that offers many free services to New Yorkers.


Their Health Insurance Education and Enrollment Department can help you enroll in Medicaid, Child Health Plus, the Essential Plan, private health insurance and even small business plans. Her Justice

Her Justice provides essential civil legal services that produce life-changing outcomes for women and children in New York City. For over 27 years, Her Justice has ensured that women living in poverty receive legal assistance, for free, in order to achieve safety, self-sufficiency and stability.
