Material Donations

Avail NYC is grateful for the generous material donations we receive from individuals and organizations in our community.


We ask that all items be new or gently used and in good condition. Clothing items should be washed before donating. Please call or email to schedule a drop-off date and time (212-689-1705 or support@availnyc.org). We are happy to provide you with a donation receipt.


Avail NYC accepts the following items as material donations:


  • Baby clothing (preemie through– 3T) 
  • Maternity clothing – new or gently used (this includes nursing bras)
  • Diapers
  • Wipes
  • Formula
  • Blankets
  • Bottles, pacifiers, teething toys, sippy cups
  • Baby carriers
  • Boppy pillows
  • Baby swings, rockers, bouncy chairs
  • Infant bathtubs
  • Toys and books (for babies and children through age 3) 
  • High chairs
  • Bassinets 
  • New Breast pumps 
  • Baby monitors
  • Bottle warmers


Avail NYC does not accept the following items:


  • Cribs (or Pack-n-Plays)
  • Car Seats
  • Strollers
  • Sleep positioners
  • Walkers with wheels
  • Crib bumper pads
  • Any items that have been subject to recall
  • Stuffed animals
  • Used Breast Pumps
