If you find yourself with unresolved feelings after an abortion and would like help, Avail is here for you.
At Avail, we recognize that many people experience unresolved feelings after an abortion. For some, these feelings surface right after terminating a pregnancy. For others, these feelings surface years later.
It’s not uncommon for people to feel they don’t have a safe place to talk about a past abortion. Avail can be that safe place for you. Avail’s client advocates are available to meet with you one-on-one, and Avail also offers nine-week support groups, which are confidential environments for women to speak about their past abortions with others who share similar experiences. After-abortion support group curriculum incorporates “food for thought” quotes, self-care activities, journal prompts, and spiritual reflections. While Biblical scripture is used to facilitate healing and hope, women from all backgrounds of faith, including no faith background, are welcome.
Many have experienced healing and hope after an abortion as a result of Avail’s after-abortion support. Healing and hope are possible for you, too.
